A young woman awakens in a dark forest, her only memory the face of an alluring, eldritch sorcerer and the whispered word on his lips. 'Lyssa...!'

As she journeys to rediscover her missing past, Lyssa meets the stubborn dregs of humanity living out the Era of Shadow. She also meets heroes valiantly seeking the end of the Dark Lord's reign.

And as she battles the undead, the arcane and the distressingly human, she also meets herself. And Lyssa discovers that she has an insatiable, inexorable hunger, one that fuels a powerfully inhuman form of enchantment. One that drives her to be physically intimate with the people she meets in order to reach her full potential.

But what is Lyssa? And when she meets this Dark Lord, will she deny him? Or will she join him?

Path of Lyssa was written over the month of November 2024 a part of a writing challenge, coming in at 65k words.
